Davids work featured  in Generation at Sirius Art Centre, Cobh

Generation   26th March-26th April 2015

Generation was a public participation project with GASP (Glasheen Art Studio Program). The project invited people of varying ages to create works on the subject of age; the work of both children and older people was presented together, portraying the curiosity and magic of childhood through to the experience of those in later years. The project provided opportunities for people from different generations to meet, interact and support each other’s creative process. The exhibition was accompanied by a series of activities and workshops that focused on process and built on this interaction. Generation was in collaboration with St Luke’s nursing home in Cork and Cork Educate Together National School.

David exhibited one of his paintings accompanied by one of his palettes.

There were many opportunities for public engagement during the exhibition and David's work was received very well. 

In this image we can see visitors from St Marys' National School, Cobh enjoy exploring the colour a texture of David's palette that he used for his painting exhibited.
